HERE COMES YANKUMI SAYING:

ahhh sian. sch's reopening tmr. and yes, i've piles of hw undone. kudos to sheila man! haha! i know im gonna drown in the pool of hw, but i shall just deceive myself by telling myself,"you are so not gonna die. just believe in what you do!" argh. yes, it's optimistic, but unpractical. cos it's obvious that im gonna struggle with my hw. i wonder why im still so calm. i can still believe that im gonna be alright. haha! prepare to see how sheila gets reprimanded by teachers for not completing her work! hohoho...
oh well. shall blog abt happy stuff. hehh! on the first day of moeco camp, i thought it would be another boring camp becos everybody was very quiet and i couldnt feel any enthusiasm at all. on the fourth day of camp, when jasmine (one of the sheng players) approached me to address the orchestra about making a card for yao lao shi (the conductor), i began to feel the unity coming to us. although it wasnt very strong, at least all of us got together to accomplish the task. it was really nice running around SCH, trying to take photos of the different sections, even though it was rather rush.
through this camp, i've also changed my views of SCO players. previously, i always had this fallacy that professional musicians are serious and unfriendly especially when they're working. till i got to interact with my instructor, she lao shi, i realised that professional musicians can be fun people too! it all surfaced itself during the breaks when we chit-chatted with our instructors. ps: some of them are actually quite funny, bubbly and cute! hehh!
the climax of the camp is the last day of camp --- concert day. there were more audience as compared to last yr. feng ling rocked the entire SCH. at the end of the piece, everyone got so high that the audience applaused and cheered loudly even before the piece ended! i guess it was the best performance of the concert. after the concert ended, all of us began to take photos with one another, exchange contacts and stuff... haha! it's really nice to be part of moeco camp '08. despite my heavy workload, im glad i've joined moeco camp this yr. (: hehh.. photos? no time to upload! shall upload when im free!
dinner was really funny! a HUGE GANG of us (the geco cum moeco camp people) went out for dinner tgt. we counted the total no. of people. to our astonishment, there were about 20 people altogether. wanhua even commented that that's more than the attendance of last wk's geco outing. HAHA! due to peak hour, the train was extremely packed with people. it was so packed that we had to separate into two trains! HAHAHA! at mos burger, we occupied more than 10 tables (1 table for 2 ppl) i think! then derek suggested that we should line up in a row and enter the practice room one by one. we thought it's gonna be cool, so we really did it. it was SUPER HILARIOUS. try to imagine a long chain of people entering the room one by one, endlessly. HAHA!
haha! yup. im busy and yet im here blogging. i shall try to wrap up my hw and sleep early tonight! i dont wanna care abt the undone hw anymore. no point wallowing over it cos i know i cant finish them. yup, so bye~!

SECOND POST OF THE DAY!
hahaha! i think i've been telling szemin, layting and my parents a lot of times that I WANT TO MIGRATE AND BECOME A JAPANESE! lol!
cos i wanna eat sushi everyday, watch jap dramas everyday, blend into jap culture (see they're so polite), get away from SIAs, look at pretty and handsome jap artistes (since jap artistes are mostly either very pretty or handsome)....... etc. HAHA!
yiling, this is the first time im so crazy over a male artiste. I THINK IM CRAZY OVER OGURI SHUN! LOL! HE MAKES ME FEEL EXCITED! :D HAHAHAHHA!

Till we meet again..
haha. returning home is the sweetest moment of everyday esp after a super long and tiring day. because my neighbour's kids never fail to run to the door to say hello when people walk past their house. imagine, after a day's of hard work, u'll be dragging your feet, hoping to reach home asap. upon listening to two little kids saying hello in very innocent voices, it really brightens your day. (: haha!
i feel that i'm become more and more lazy nowadays. perhaps im numb to responsibilities and deadlines. when im assigned with a task, i dont have the motivation to complete it. i'll tend to procrastinate and start doing it when i feel like doing so. i think i've lost myself. this is not sheila at all. i wish i can hibernate for a few days. i need to reorganize my emotions. they are all going haywire. i need to get sheila back. :P
god bless me...

long time no blog!
tue was the first day of elections. nth special happened, except that elise was nominated as the vp2. HAHA!
on thur, we started interviews. since interview contents are confidential, im not gonna dwell into that. xyz was the last section of that day. after the interviews ended, we took a super lame video of hanqing being interviewed. shall bug siying to post it on co blog soon! HAHA! after a long day in school, cass, siying, yingxuan, szemin and i went to layting's hse for dinner. the dinner was a happy one. cos siying and yingxuan were very humorous. haha! we practically laughed through the entire dinner. we laughed at funny stuffs such as yingxuan trying to laugh w/o vibrating, then w/o opening her mouth and lastly, w/o moving her eyeballs. siying's funny too. layting's clock kinda camouflaged in rows of photo frames on her table, so siying distinguish it. then cass commented that her specs were blocking her eyes, that's y she couldnt see the clock. yingxuan added on by saying that it was her eyelids that blocked her view. HAHA! (see, like i mentioned before, siying and yingxuan are the most entertaining comm members!) after dinner, we went down to cass's hse (cass lives one lvl below layting's hse!) to practise yangguang. by then, most of us were already pretty drained out. esp siying, haha! at first she only had minor rhythmic problems. when we played one by one, we tried to correct her. but as she played, she kept counting the beats wrongly and i got worse. lol. i guessed she was really tired. fortunately after all the 'yi ge yi ge lai', we all cleared our doubts and got more together. by the end of the prac, i could sense a bit of mo4 qi4 in our music. yay! though it's a tiring day, at least the night was fruitful! (: but that's just the first part of yangguang, gotta buck up for kuai4 ban3, which is more problematic. :/ haha! nvm! everybody must jiayou, cos we can do it! jiayou cass, esp at the running notes part! :D
a few comm members met at SCH for site visit on fri. mrs ee was there too. before they came to serve us, we glanced through the upcoming events brochure and we didnt see our concert being featured. sigh. im sure i sent to them though it was late. but i did call them to check, n they said it was ok. ahhh sigh nvm. they've alrdy featured the brochure, there's nth we can do. we thought it should end within 1h, who knows it dragged. :P then i went to esplande library. supposed to meet szemin, layting and cheehang there, but layting and szemin pangseh-ed us. so cheehang and i had to go to tpy to meet them. and there goes his ichiban boshi. haha! (cos we were SUPPOSED to treat him to ichiban boshi.) although we walked very slowly frm esplanade to cityhall mrt station (cos cheehang had to look for scores in the lib, buy concert tic at sistics counter and look for a book at mph), we still reached earlier than them. see, layting and szemin, u guys were very slow! HAHAHA! jkjk! when i saw them tapping their cards, the both of us tried to hide from them. cheehang went out while i hid behind the pillar. apparently they didnt spot us. then xiquan called to meet us for dinner. after some time, i realised that they were nowhere to be seen. when i was about to turn back to look for cheehang to tell him that i couldnt see them, someone threw a small piece of paper at me! it was xiquan. -.- I THOUGHT IT WAS LAYTING AND SZEMIN LAH! FRIGHTENED ME! hahahah! after that we called layting to ask where they were. when we told them that we were still at the station, she was in disbelief. HAHA! after dinner was ge prac! it was fun photocopying ppl's ezlink cards/i/cs. hohoho! some ppl really changed a lot! :D fortunately it didnt take a long time. sherry, wanhua and i could finally join the rest for prac. hehehh.
next day, GECO OUTING @ east coast park! i thought the distance between the food centre near bedok jetty and macdonalds is walkable. so i bought food from the food centre and walked to macs since that's our meeting place. after 10min, i realised i wasnt even halfway thru. so i continued walking. 20min passed and i was still nowhere near! i kept walking. finally, i reached macs after 30min. LOL! but this is nth as compared to junyang and kuangit. they cycled all the way from tpy to ecp. im feeling lazy, so i shall not go into details of what we did. generally, we played arcade (my ddr skills deteriorated!), cycled (it was a highly phsycologically-tormenting experience! cos the double bike was tilted to one side! it felt as if u're gonna fall towards the right anytime! plus the brake was spoilt!) and bowled (my first time! and apparently i was the lousiest!)! sadly i was too young to enter the pool centre. haha! by the time everything ended, it was alrdy 11pm. so we decided to cab home. the queue was super long. then i saw a taxi available, but it was at the lane for taxis. so i approached it to ask the driver if he's still driving any passenger. when i was about to open the door, i realised that the driver looked quite scary. cos he had the typical bad guy look. i even thought of aborting the idea, but i still picked up my courage to ask him, cos it was very late alrdy! he said can, but he's gonna buy food from macs first. and we were so lucky. despite the long queue, we got a taxi w/o even queuing. HOHOHO! actually the uncle was a very nice guy lah! he chatted with us and even delayed his dinner just to send us home. moral of the story: NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER!
nth much for today! went for erhu lesson with szemin this morning. we chatted quite a lot too! hee! mostly about geco outing. during lesson, xls asked about yangguang. she said we were far from expectation. she even said if any of us cant make it, that person will be 'fired'. and if the item was not well-done, im to take up the responsibility (since im the one leading lah). sigh. haha! yangguang is supposed to be the better song as compared to xi song gong liang. i seriously cant imagine how xi song gong liang will be like. on our way home, we were discussing about this. then i tried to calculate the number of things i have to take charge of.
1. concert preparation 2. co jacket 3. xi song gong liang 4. yangguang 5. grad mag (but just temporarily, cos jiale's overseas. n it's nth much cos i only have to make sure we're progressing) 6. funfair prep 7. geco (nac competition and perhaps several admin work) 8. elections
PERHAPS there're more. (or maybe no more) haha! but look at the list. this is just the list of things im IN CHARGE of, not list of things that i've to do. besides, this excludes my homework, so u can imagine how much things i've to do. haha well done man. yes, im worried. im worried that i cant make all these in time. but surprisingly, im quite calm. i dont know why, i just feel hopeful, and i choose to believe that 船到桥头自然直. lol. well, im happy as long as i've done my best. i'll leave the rest to God. (: of course i hope all of the above can run smoothly. after i've accomplished all of them, i'll be very proud of myself, cos i can actually go through so much! (: alright, jiayou sheila!
tmr morning we're gonna prac yangguang again. kuai ban. i hope it'll be another fruitful session. i also hope that youzi can catch up with us. then it's moeco camp. i hope the activities will be fun! hehh. JIAYOU!

hoho! another slack day. went out with layting and cheehang. firstly, we went to changi village for lunch. cos he recommended the nasi lemak there. as we were walking to that place, we came across subway at the bottom of a block! yes, i was really tempted cos subway is my favourite 'fastfood??'! i was telling them how much i wish subway can open an outlet at my block! LOL! however, we didnt eat nasi lemak eventually cos the queue was too long. had char kuey teow instead and it was nice! cos it's not oily n i like char kuey teow that's not oily! :D
then we headed to safra and play pool. lol. this is my second time playing pool. first time was two years ago and i only managed to hit once. so im a greenhorn at pool. haha! at first, cheehang taught the both of us the basic techniques and the rules of the game. so we started off with layting vs sheila! hoho! guess who won?! I WON! heeheehee! im NOT THAT BAD OKAY! despite the fact that layting's 'longer' than me (longer = can stretch further esp when the white ball is at a very weird position). in the middle of the game, i was supposed to hit a yellow ball that's pretty near a hole into the hole (sounds weird). but my shot was so 'pro' that both the white ball and the yellow ball attempted to squeeze themselves into the hole at the same time. in the end, both the balls got stuck just right at the mouth of the hole. none went in. -.-
next round was cheehang vs layting & sheila! haha! we teamed up. predict the winner! hohohohohohoho.......... LAYTING AND SHEILA WON! it was a very funny ending. he was supposed to hit the last ball (the black ball) in. indeed, the black ball went in. the white ball continued rolling slowly.... and fell into one of the holes! haha! that's how we won! tyco.
then we played for another 2 more rounds. he won the second round, but we won the third round. so WE ARENT THAT BAD AFTER ALL, considering the fact that we're still amateurs.
after pool, he drove us to mt faber (nvr get down, just drove through only). so i was telling layting that we actually travelled around singapore. firstly we were in the north cos that's where we both live, then we went to the east, followed by central (cos he drove past east coast) and lastly, he dropped us at bukit timah cos he had to return his car at turf city. well done! we've travelled AROUND SINGAPORE IN ONE DAY!
tempted by subway previously, i had subway for dinner. lol! then i met my mother at admiralty cos i had to photocopy stuff. while she was having dinner, i 'kop-ed' her bowl of soup. then we had icecream cos icecream is her favourite dessert and an old man was selling it at our void deck. (how i wish it was subway) back at home, she placed a plate of rojiak (that she bought just now) right in front of me. tempted, i started eating. then i ate fruits. then i felt like eating hor fun. LOL. dont know why i just cant stop eating. (according to heeai's theory, this is a symptom of stress) now i've a craving for olives. the olives in my subway sandwich.... haha! though olives have a very weird taste, i like that weird taste! :D:D:D
ok. enough of food temptation. later's election. IM EXCITED! :D:D:D and the snailmail letters are ready! we're sending out in these few days! hohoho! NYCO CONCERT!!! :D:D:D okay! better sleep now cos i've a super early date with yuka tmr! :D

i think nowadays i've talked too much. or i should say i've sprouted too much rubbish. lol. SHEILA, IT'S TIME TO LEARN HOW TO SELF-CONTROL!
hehh, i also realised that im bad at hiding feelings. today, several ppl commented that i look very stressed. lol. do i really look stress?!!? hahaha! perhaps im just tired bah! probably becos i was reading till wee hours the prev day, that's y i wasnt in a very good state today.
oh, i also realised that im someone who digresses very easily. hahahah! another area that needs improvement. okay! well, shall not dwell into my boring lifestory. i shall erm... upload a song to liven up my GRAY blog. HAHA!
